SAFE AND SENSIBLE

The feast is only fun and enjoyable if everyone plays their part in adhering to the guidance of staff, who are well versed in the latest Scottish Government Covid-19 regulations. You will be asked to sanitise in the car park, and your temperature will be taken by infra-red thermometer - anyone with a temperature or other Covid-19 symptoms will not be admitted, sorry.

The Scottish Borders is lucky to be at the lower end of the UK’s dreadful Covid-19 stats, and we’d like to keep it that way, which is why only those resident in the Scottish Borders can reserve a table.

token system

The Walled Garden Feast will operate a token system. Upon arrival at the Walled Garden, your booking will be checked, you’ll be assigned a table number and payment will be taken (only a payment card pre-authorisation is taken at the time of booking). A minimum charge of £21 (adults) / £15 (u16s), which includes cover charges (£6/£3) applies. You will then be issued with tokens to the value of your payment (minus cover-charges). If you wish to purchase further tokens at any time, just return to the kiosk.

Should you have any tokens left, they can be used on a future visit or handed in for their value to be donated to the NHS at the end of the pop-up or tipped to the staff at any time.  Should you require a cash refund for remaining tokens, please advise a member of the team at the kiosk upon departure and this will be returned to the payment card you used to buy them.

Ordering

Table service is provided for all drinks orders, with token payment made to the waiting staff.  Food orders (including coffee) and payments are placed directly with the food vendors at their stalls.

We ask that when entering and leaving the Walled Garden, you do so by the designated entrance and exit only.

We also ask that guests vacate their table at the allotted time promptly to enable thorough table sanitation procedures before the next guests arrive.
